Description:
Energy Law is to provide for the management, development and utilization of renewable energy (RE) to provide for the sustainable and adequate supply of renewable energy and to provide for related matters. The provisions in the Act include a feed-in-tariff, obligatory purchase, ease of access to grid infrastructure for interconnectivity, off-grid electrification options and the establishment of a Renewable Energy Fund to ensure economic returns on investment.
