The ultimate goal of the National Environment Agency is to achieve the essential policy objectives of the Gambia Environmental Action Plan as indicated below: To ensure an environmentally sustainable economic and social development in the Gambia. To have a Legal recognition of the fundamental right to a sound environment, ensuring the health and well-being of all those living in the Gambia.
