The Community Energy Service of Bambadinca starts the testing phaseThe project aims at providing the village of Bambadinca (region of Bafata, Guinea-Bissau) with a modern, reliable and accessible electricity service from renewable energy sources. In Bambadinca, NGO TESE sem fronteiras, is implementing this innovative project; "Bambadinca Sta Claro", where 6500 persons will receive energy from a large solar PV system, covering 15,000 m2, that will be producing 270 kW electric power. The electricity benefits both women and children, households, schools and local businesses. About 120 pilot customers started testing on15th November 2014 the Community Energy Service of Bambadinca (SCEB).
